ASD|SKY, a progressive interior design, architectural, and graphics firm, has an immediate opening for a Tenant Planning Designer with 2-3 years experience in our Atlanta, GA office.
The ideal tenant planning teammate should be well-versed in all phases of design, including space planning, documentation, and construction administration. Effective communication is crucial. An ideal teammate can anticipate challenges, adapt to unexpected situations, and propose creative solutions. Balancing multiple tasks is common and this person should excel at prioritization, meeting deadlines, and keeping projects moving forward.
Understanding local real estate markets and the priorities of a particular landlord is essential. This knowledge informs strategic decisions and requires a different approach than a project originating from a client.
Requirements:
- Experience in landlord-driven work
- Ability to design and manage standard projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documentation
- AutoCAD proficient, SketchUp proficient, Revit proficient, plus skilled at Excel, Word, Photoshop and PowerPoint
- Excellent quick space planning skills
- Extensive knowledge of local codes
- Strong presentation and communication skills required for fast-paced, varied work day
- Minimum BS or BA in Architecture or Interior Design required

Project Architect
ASD|SKY, a progressive interior design, architectural, and graphics firm, has an immediate opening for a Project Architect with 10 - 12 years’ experience in our Tampa, Florida office. Design experience in corporate/commercial architecture with minor experience in multi-family is required. Additionally, at least 4 of the 10 years of experience should be in a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities:
- Leading a project team through the coordination and delivery of project concepting, design, detailing, documentation, and construction.
- Foster a culture of creative and strategic architectural design thinking through mentoring.
- Engagement and coordination of engineers and other basic design consultants.
- Assist in creating project schedules and tracking to design milestones.
- Attend project meetings and travel to and from project sites and client meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to quickly communicate creative design strategies through excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well in a studio environment as well as work independently to service individual client needs.
- Proficiency in documenting all phases of the design process.
- Willingness to engage in an integrated design process inclusive of Interior Design, Signage and Graphics and Landscape.
- Bachelor of Architecture: Master of Architecture is a plus
